Held a charity Christmas party at the Children of Joy Home in Wattala, home to 19 girls aged 4 to 16. A fun-filled evening was full of music, games like “pin the nose on the reindeer,” prizes, and delicious food. It concluded with the presentation of gifts of school bags, essential school supplies, CR books, socks, and goodie bags that consisted of a few fun items the children were delighted to receive.

Donation to elders’ home
Supported two elders’ homes just outside of Colombo with various donations. A wheelchair and several walking sticks were gifted to St. Joseph’s Home in Negombo. Walking sticks were donated to Shanta Seva Padanama Elders’ Home in Bopitiya, Kandana. The beneficiaries were grateful for the generous and useful gifts.
Mobile medical and eye camp
Supported an eye and health camp held in Moratumulla for disadvantaged senior citizens in this impoverished area. This was done in conjunction with HelpAge Sri Lanka. Donation of medications and other essential items
Donated urgently requested medicines as well as an umbrella, a wall fan, four packs of adult diapers and a box of milk biscuits to the residents at Cheshire Home, a home for the differently abled. This is the oldest and longest-running project of the club.
Donation of televisions
Donated two televisions to ward 33, psychiatric ward of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila.
The Centenary project
The Centenary project for the club Emergency Obstetrics and Newborn Care, a two day workshop was conducted at the Family Health Clinic in Colombo on January 16th and 17th.
