Celebrated International Literacy Day with a special guest author Ameena Hussein. Ameena shared her experiences that went into researching her best-selling book, “Chasing Tall Tales and Mystics: Ibn Battuta in Sri Lanka”. Food and fellowship were enjoyed by all after Ameena’s riveting lecture.

Initiated the project to read and teach English two days a week to the children of St. Martin’s Creche Thimbirigasyaya.

Members donated much needed funds to the Therapeutic Counselling and Training Centre in Colombo 15. This centre is dedicated to providing support and assistance to underprivileged individuals, offering speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy services twice a week to to people between the ages of five and thirty, who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy…
