The Centenary project for the club Emergency Obstetrics and Newborn Care, a two day workshop was conducted at the Family Health Clinic in Colombo on January 16th and 17th. The interesting, hands-on programme was spearheaded by Prof. Hemantha Senanayake. Donated a case of milk powder for the children of Bethlehem Creche in Wanathamulla, a low-income area of Colombo.
Donated urgently requested medicines as well as an umbrella, a wall fan, four packs of adult diapers and a box of milk biscuits to the residents at Cheshire Home, a home for the differently abled. This is the oldest and longest-running project of the club.
Donated a wheelchair to the Indira Cancer Trust in Maharagama.
