World Literacy Month – Inner Wheel District 322

Donated beautiful pre-loved children’s books to the Children of Joy Home in celebration of Literacy Month. The children were also gifted biscuits and chocolates by the club.

Donation of milk powder

Donated a case of milk powder for the children of Bethlehem Creche in Wanathamulla, a low-income area of Colombo.

Sponsoring sewing tools

Presented the 12 sponsored students of the 8 weeks’ sewing programme course with a pack of required sewing tools.

Donation to Jayasispura Kanishka Vidyala

Provided 200 packets each of Samaposha, milk powder, chocolate biscuits, marie biscuits and 200 chunky chocolate bars to the students of Jayasispura Kanishka Vidyala, Bakamuna, Polonnaruwa. Donated 100 English and Sinhala books from various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, literature and educational texts which were gifted by the Asia Foundation in celebration of World Literacy Day to Rajagaha Ela Junior School in Pallapitiya, Gampola.
