IIW Centennial Limb
A new Endowment Fund was set up during the visit of IIW President Trish Douglas to provide for a limb annually on 10th January to celebrate the establishment of International Inner Wheel. The first limb was gifted to a 16 year old school girl.

Celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child
Marking the International Day of the Girl Child an artificial limb is donated annually to a girl through the Center for Handicapped. The recipient of the limb this year was nine-year-old Dimalshi, who was born with a congenital deformity and who needs her artificial limb replaced each year as she outgrows the previous one.
Ongoing quarterly donations
Ongoing project of quarterly donations to three children’s homes, an elders’ home and the Centre for Handicapped, Kundasale towards incidentals and treats for the children and elders.

Donated 23 pairs of custom-made prescription spectacles to students and staff members of a local school using high quality frames gifted by a member. Supported a Girls’ Home by providing a stall at a pre-Avurudu sale. The Club made it possible for a Girl’s Home near Kandy to showcase and sell products made by the girls during their vocational training classes.
