Ongoing project of donation of milk powder

Marking the International Day of the Girl Child an artificial limb is donated annually to a girl through the Center for Handicapped. The recipient of the limb this year was nine-year-old Dimalshi, who was born with a congenital deformity and who needs her artificial limb replaced each year as she outgrows the previous one.

Donated 23 pairs of custom-made prescription spectacles to students and staff members of a local school using high quality frames gifted by a member. The recipients eyes were tested free of charge at the Eye Clinic at the Centre for Handicapped and the cost of the lenses was met by members of the club. A…
