Marking the International Day of the Girl Child an artificial limb is donated annually to a girl through the Center for Handicapped. The recipient of the limb this year was nine-year-old Dimalshi, who was born with a congenital deformity and who needs her artificial limb replaced each year as she outgrows the previous one.
Funds and books were donated to a special school for children from an underprivileged community in Digana.
Sponsoring two meals a week for twelve pre-schoolers in a village near Matale.
