Held a charity Christmas party at the Children of Joy Home in Wattala, home to 19 girls aged 4 to 16. A fun-filled evening was full of music, games like “pin the nose on the reindeer,” prizes, and delicious food. It concluded with the presentation of gifts of school bags, essential school supplies, CR books, socks, and goodie bags that consisted of a few fun items the children were delighted to receive.

Donation to elders’ home
Supported two elders’ homes just outside of Colombo with various donations. A wheelchair and several walking sticks were gifted to St. Joseph’s Home in Negombo. Walking sticks were donated to Shanta Seva Padanama Elders’ Home in Bopitiya, Kandana. The beneficiaries were grateful for the generous and useful gifts.
Sponsored a fashion design course
One day programme on patch work and a 6 months course in Fashion Designing was sponsored to a young woman to help her follow a career in fashion sewing.
World Literacy Month
Donated beautiful pre-loved children’s books to the Children of Joy Home in celebration of Literacy Month. The children were also gifted biscuits and chocolates by the club.
Observed Breast Cancer Month
A poster was designed and shared on social media as a way of creating awareness on Breast Cancer Month.
