Throughout each Inner Wheel Year members provide occasional treats for disadvantaged children. This year treats have included a tea-time treat for the children of Daya Niwasa, Children’s Day treats for the pupils of Kalugamuwa school & for the girls in the YWCA hostel in Kandy, in a joint project with the YWCA, 33 children and a few mothers spent the day in the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, most of them for the very first time.

Treat to the children at Singithi Sevena Home
Gave a special treat to 20 children at Singithi Sevena, a home for orphans or abandoned children. They were given a special meal as well as chocolates and other goodies. Creating much happiness and care for an enjoyable day for the children.
Supporting a Girls’ Home
Supported a Girls’ Home by providing a stall at a pre-Avurudu sale. The Club made it possible for a Girl’s Home near Kandy to showcase and sell products made by the girls during their vocational training classes.
Celebration of International Women’s Day
Celebrated International Women’s Day 2024 by creating its 4th Endowment Fund at the Centre for Handicapped in Kundasale. The interest generated by the Endowment will be used to gift an artificial limb to a woman or a girl on the 8th of March every year from now on.
A workshop on mental health
A workshop on mental health was organized for sixty eight teenage girls. A senior Medical Psychiatrist conducted the session on stress management.
World Bamboo Day
Joined with Sri Lanka Network of Bamboo and Rattan (SRINBAR) to mark World Bamboo Day by planting bamboo saplings at Ambalama, Kumburudeniya in Kandy District.
Ongoing quarterly donations
Ongoing project of quarterly donations to three children’s homes, an elders’ home and the Centre for Handicapped, Kundasale towards incidentals and treats for the children and elders.
