The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota donated sanitary items and essential items to a teenager. This is an ongoing project – the members will support the teenager monthly.
Children’s Day Celebrations – The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota together with the Rotary Club of Katugastota celebrated Children’s Day at Senkadagala Weerodara Maha Vidyalaya. A mid-day meal was provided for 300 students, and stationery was provided to the junior school children.
Children’s & Elder’s Day – The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota celebrated Elder’s and children’s day at Cecile Niwasa Elder’s home Padiwatte and the Holy Cross Convent Montessori. Dry rations were donated to the home, and yoghurt was provided for the kids. Quality time was spent with them to make the day special.

Charity Project – Under the Charity Project, dry rations and breakfast were provided to five needy families in the local community. This initiative aimed to offer immediate relief and nourishment to families struggling to meet basic needs, bringing smiles to their faces and a sense of hope.
The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota collaborated with the Rotary Club of Katugastota to donate walking aids to elders at the Dewpura Elders Society in Hunnasgiriya.
The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota sponsored the Trauma Management Workshop facilitated by Australian Trauma Management experts for doctors and medical professionals in Kandy.
The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota together with the Rotary Club of Katugastota, conducted a Maternal & Childcare Medical Camp as well as Scanning and Awareness for pregnant mothers at the Divisional Hospital Galpihilla. Dry rations were donated to pregnant mothers.
