The recipient of the limb this year was nine-year-old Dimalshi, who was born with a congenital deformity and who needs her artificial limb replaced each year as she outgrows the previous one.

Marked International Inner Wheel Day by gifting new and nearly new clothes, materials, curtains, shoes, accessories and sewing and knitting materials to a Girl’s Home near Kandy. A cash donation was also provided for underwear for the girls and 5 kilos of rice were given for their use.
