Sponsoring two meals

A new Endowment Fund was set up during the visit of IIW President Trish Douglas to provide for a limb annually on 10th January to celebrate the establishment of International Inner Wheel.  The first limb was gifted to a 16 year old school girl.

Throughout each Inner Wheel Year members provide occasional treats for disadvantaged children. This year treats have included a tea-time treat for the children of Daya Niwasa, Children’s Day treats for the pupils of Kalugamuwa school & for the girls in the YWCA hostel in Kandy, in a joint project with the YWCA, 33 children and…

Monthly or quarterly scholarships to nineteen university students and six school students to help with their academic expenses.

Made their ongoing contributions to the charitable institutions.
