The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo celebrated Inner Wheel Day by providing lunch to the ladies at St. Margaret’s Home. The visiting club, the Inner Wheel Club of Mumbai Hanging Gardens joined in celebrating Inner Wheel Day at the home. They donated diapers and other essential items required by the home.
Empowering Women through Sewing Programmes
The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo empower women through sewing programmes. A kurtha-making course was started for a batch of students. These additional sewing skills will help the women from less privileged backgrounds to earn money from home, thereby contributing to the family income.
