Donation of Dry Rations to the Sri Lankadhara Girls’ Home

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo donated dry rations to the Sri Lankadhara Home for Girls.

Observed Children’s Day

A poster was designed and shared on social media to observe Children’s Day.

Donation to Sunshine day care & pre school

Donated children’s books to the Sunshine day care & pre school in Trincomalee to support the English programme at the school. The Club sponsors the English teacher at the school.

Donation of an oxygen concentrator

Donated an Oxygen Concentrator machine to the Shantha Sevena hospice in Maharagama which is a hospice for the care of terminally ill cancer patients .

Donation of menstrual underwear

Championing for Period Poverty for Girls with #globalhand Australia at Sri Lankadara Child Development Center, Colombo. Donated menstrual underwear from Australia to the girls, and also toiletries and food items.

Donation to Cancer Transit Home

Donated essential medicines to the Cancer Society Home in Maharagama. Also the patients and the staff were treated to a special lunch.

Sewing programme

Initiated a sewing programme to the mothers of the students at St. Martin’s Creche.
