Inner wheel club of Colombo West donated dry rations to 5 low income families who were affected with kidney diseases in Anuradhapura area . This was done as a joint project with the Inner Wheel Club of Anuradhapura who found all the deserving recipients. The funds were received from Nilakshi Perera in memory of her brother Romesh Ondaatjie.
Donated funds to the Dental unit of Anuradhapura teaching hospital for root canal treatment in children at SOS village.
Donated milk powder to a cancer patient.
Participated in the tree planting project done jointly by the Inner Wheel District 322 and Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. Jack fruit, pomegranate and guava were planted at Bandaranaike Cancer Home in Maharagama.
A Christmas party for 40 Children at Mother Theresa’s home in Moratuwa was held. A pack of toys and snacks were given to the children. Club also handed over dry rations and a cash donation towards purchase of bed sheets and a special lunch to be given on January 1st 2023.
