Inner wheel club of Colombo West donated dry rations to 5 low income families who were affected with kidney diseases in Anuradhapura area . This was done as a joint project with the Inner Wheel Club of Anuradhapura who found all the deserving recipients. The funds were received from Nilakshi Perera in memory of her brother Romesh Ondaatjie.
Donated 10 sets of long desks and benches , 2 book cupboards, 7 Maggi boards, writing books, water bottles, lunch boxes and other stationery items to 70 children in Siri Chandananda dhamma school , Alahitiyawa , Kurunregala. Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West in collaboration with the staff of Salon Chopping Block, Nugegoda carried out haircuts, manicure and pedicure for 25 inmates of Subodha Ayurvedic Elder’s Home, Ratmalana. The inmates were provided with refreshments.
Donated 50 mosquito nets to a newly built Bikkhu hospital in Horana.
Donated dry rations and cash gifts to eight caregivers at Anbu Illam elders home in lieu of Diwali.
Donated a book cupboard to Arun Manikawasagam Tamil school in Wattala.
Donated funds to a widow to support her children to pay school fees.
