Inner Wheel Clubs of Badulla, Colombo West, Colombo South, and Mount Lavinia made a cash donation to Center for Handicapped in Kundasale to be given as micro loans for the small businesses of four women with disabilities.

Water purification project
Completed the 2nd water purifier project for the year at Neboda Vidyalaya in Horowpathana, Anuradhapura, to provide clean drinking water to children and teachers in the school. Many children and adults are suffering from kidney diseases in this area due to the high content of cadmium and arsenic in the water.

Donation to low income families
Donated dry rations to 5 low income families who were affected with kidney diseases in Anuradhapura area . This was done as a joint project with the Inner Wheel Club of Anuradhapura who found all the deserving recipients. The funds were received from Nilakshi Perera in memory of her brother Romesh Ondaatjie.
