District Project – Childhood Cancer
The Inner Wheel Clubs of Kandy, Kandy Metropolitan, Katugastota and Matale launched their District Project on Childhood Cancer by meeting with a little boy with leukemia and his mother and giving her the first month’s funds for his treatment. A joint project coordinated by the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central , Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Mid Town, and Inner Wheel Club of Maharagama, was held to commemorate the International Children’s Day. District project on Women Empowerment
Twenty abused school going girls were identified from the Ratmalana Divisional Secretariat area and they were given DSI vouchers to purchase school shoes, a parcel containing stationary and a box of food items.
