District project on Women Empowerment

Twenty abused school going girls were identified from the Ratmalana Divisional Secretariat area and they were given DSI vouchers to purchase school shoes, a parcel containing stationary and a box of food items. The children were also briefed on how to protect themselves by a child protection specialist. Project was completed by Inner Wheel Clubs of Colombo Central, Colombo Mid Town and Maharagama.
