Trauma Management Workshop

The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota sponsored the Trauma Management Workshop facilitated by Australian Trauma Management experts for doctors and medical professionals in Kandy.

Maternal & Childcare Medical Camp

The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota together with the Rotary Club of Katugastota, conducted a Maternal & Childcare Medical Camp as well as Scanning and Awareness for pregnant mothers at the Divisional Hospital Galpihilla. Dry rations were donated to pregnant mothers.

Awareness On Cancer

Awareness On Cancer for the ladies from in and around the Kundasale area. An Ayurvedha doctor spoke on self-examination and symptoms of Cancer. 45 women benefitted from this project.

Diabetic Day – Donation of an artificial limb

Diabetc Project – The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota donated an artificial limb to a 48-year-old woman who lost her leg due to diabetes.

Joint tree planting project

Participated in the tree planting project done jointly by the Inner Wheel District 322 and Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. Fruit trees were planted at Hemamali Girls School, Mapanawatura.
