District Project – Childhood Cancer
The Inner Wheel Clubs of Kandy, Kandy Metropolitan, Katugastota and Matale launched their District Project on Childhood Cancer by meeting with a little boy with leukemia and his mother and giving her the first month’s funds for his treatment. An additional cash donation is also donated to the family each month for other expenses.

Centenary project
Celebrated International Inner Wheel Centenary Day by donated dry rations to the elders at the “Cecile Niwasa Elders Home” at Naththarampotha, Kundasale. They also celebrated the Centenary Year by cutting a cake and tea, then celebrating with the nuns who dedicate their lives to taking care of the elders at home.
Celebration of “Women’s Day”
Organized an Eye Testing Camp to celebrate “Women’s Day” for the Senior ladies of the Cecile Elder’s Home, Padiwatte. Eyes were tested for the 36 beneficiaries and were provided with reading glasses.
