Celebrated International Friendship Day dressed in blue, holding placards with quotes on friendship, walking arm-in-arm to raise funds for the Sri Lanka Cancer Society. There was much laughter and merriment as the ladies encouraged each other to complete the walk, after which they enjoyed themselves at the fun fair while visiting the food stalls.
When the ladies had previously met for a luncheon, Club Members showed solidarity by singing the Inner Wheel song, “Standing Together”, endorsing the philosophy of Inner Wheel by fostering friendship and fellowship.
