Cradles, bedding, clothes, baby care items and milk powder were given to a Girl’s Home near Kandy and the excess funds were used for repairing and baby-proofing older cradles.

A 100 feet tube well was donated to four farming families in the dry zone of the country providing water for cultivation as well as for domestic use.
A workshop on mental health
A workshop on mental health was organized for sixty eight teenage girls. A senior Medical Psychiatrist conducted the session on stress management.
Marking Inner Wheel Day
Marked International Inner Wheel Day by gifting new and nearly new clothes, materials, curtains, shoes, accessories and sewing and knitting materials to a Girl’s Home near Kandy. A cash donation was also provided for underwear for the girls and 5 kilos of rice were given for their use.
