Joint project with IW Club of Ahamadabad – Inner Wheel District 322

A joint project was conducted with IW Club of Ahamadabad in India in, wherein they have upgraded an elders home in India.

Alms giving to monks

An alms giving for 39 Buddhists monks at the Meethirigala Temple was held with breakfast and lunch.

Diabetic Project – Donation of items related to diabetes to the Diabetic Clinic at Kandana Government Hospital

Diabetic Project The Inner Wheel Club of Ja/Ela Kandana donated PB monitors, orange trailer sockets, and 6V chargers to the Diabetic Clinic at Kandana Government Hospital, following a request from the District Medical Officer (DMO). Additionally, a glucometer and insulin pen refills were donated to a person in need.

Assistance to university student

Completed their ongoing project of providing monthly financial assistance to a university student.

Gift packs were handed over to patients at the Psychiatric Ward, Aniyakanda Hospital, Kandana

The Inner Wheel Club of Ja-Ela Kandana handed over 60 gift packs to the patients in the psychiatric ward at Aniyakanda Hospital, Kandana, along with a sack of coconuts, a piece of cake and a soft drink.

Building of a small boutique

A small boutique was built for a lady who is selling achcharu, string hoppers, etc since she did not have a proper place to carry out her business.
