The Centenary project for the club Emergency Obstetrics and Newborn Care, a two day workshop was conducted at the Family Health Clinic in Colombo on January 16th and 17th. The interesting, hands-on programme was spearheaded by Prof. Hemantha Senanayake. A talented and promising young girl identified from a programme the previous year was sponsored for a comprehensive 6 month course in Fashion Designing at the SINGER Academy. A batch of 8 women from the City Mission Colombo, was sponsored for a basic sewing programme at SINGER Academy.
Donation of gift bag
Donated a reusable gift bag with sweets and stationary to the children of St. Martin’s Creche.
Donation to Sunshine day care & pre school
Donated children’s books to the Sunshine day care & pre school in Trincomalee to support the English programme at the school. The Club sponsors the English teacher at the school.
