The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Nawa Udana held a cookery program at the Bambalapitiya Flats Public Hall, initiated by Thilani Withanage, the ISO of the club. Also, a mental health awareness program was conducted for women by Dr. Heshani Karunathilake, who is in charge of the Counselling Centre at Teaching Hospital Kalubowila.
The Book Drive
To celebrate the International Charity Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Wattala organised a Book Drive at St. Anne’s Church and St. Anne’s Secondary School. The Inner Wheel Club of Badulla donated a used harmonium to Mrs. Niroshini Subasinghe, a music teacher who provides free music lessons to children from low-income families.
