International Charity Day was celebrated by providing a meal at a girls’ home in Kohuwala and distributing other essential items to the children.
The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West donated dry rations and milk food for the infants of Mother Theresa’s home in Moratuwa.
The Inner Wheel Club of Wattala donated dry rations, toys, clothing, and other baby products to a low-income family with three children.
World Elders Day : The Inner Wheel Club of Negombo provided dinner to the inmates of St. Joseph’s Elders Home Thammita, Negombo. The members spent time with the Elders.
Participated in the tree planting project done jointly by the Inner Wheel District 322 and Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. Guava, mango and soursop plants were planted at a member’s residence.
The Inner Wheel Club of Kandy Metropolitan donated a soup maker to the cancer ward of the National Hospital Kandy.
On International Literacy Day stationery and other essential items were donated to 40 underprivileged children of Sujatha girls’ school.
