A joint project coordinated by the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central , Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Mid Town, and Inner Wheel Club of Maharagama, was held to commemorate the International Children’s Day. The venue was Indira Cancer Hospital. Around 35 children were treated to a puppet show by “Power of Play Pvt Ltd’. Furthermore gifts and party caps were distributed and held a “sing-song” and entertained the children with blowing of bubbles.

District Project – Childhood Cancer
The Inner Wheel Clubs of Kandy, Kandy Metropolitan, Katugastota and Matale launched their District Project on Childhood Cancer by meeting with a little boy with leukemia and his mother and giving her the first month’s funds for his treatment. An additional cash donation is also donated to the family each month for other expenses.
