Financial Aid for Cancer Patients – Inner Wheel District 322

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central provides financial aid to outdoor patients registered with the Cancer Society each year.

Annual contribution to the Cancer Society

An annual contribution is made to the Cancer Society towards the outdoor patients who seek assistance.

Donation of a laptop

Donation of a laptop

Donated a laptop and a mobile phone to a deserving student who is selected to study electronics & computer science at the Kelaniya campus.

A glucometer was donated to a female estate worker, and dry rations and food items were provided to prepare a balanced meal for elderly women at a care home.

International Women’s Day The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central donated a glucometer to a dedicated estate worker with diabetes. They also provided dry rations and essential food items to prepare a balanced meal for 71 elderly women, including 18 with dementia and 8 bedridden patients in a care home.

Sponsoring 3 O/L Students

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central sponsored three O/L students. This is an ongoing project – for a period of one year.

Care for the elderly

Donated 7 packs diapers, eggs, yoghurt, milk & oats to a deserving 86 year old lady who suffers from Parkinson’s decease, dementia & partial paralysis.

Diabetic Project – Financial Assistance to Four Diabetic Patients

Diabetic Day Project – The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central provided financial assistance to four diabetic patients to purchase medicines.
