The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo empower women through sewing programmes. A kurtha-making course was started for a batch of students. These additional sewing skills will help the women from less privileged backgrounds to earn money from home, thereby contributing to the family income.

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo provided cleaning products to the Seth Sevana orphange, Thanamalvilla. Also provided meals for two days, and a few club members visited the orphanage.
Donation of an oxygen concentrator
Donated an Oxygen Concentrator machine to the Shantha Sevena hospice in Maharagama which is a hospice for the care of terminally ill cancer patients .

Sponsoring sewing tools
Presented the 12 sponsored students of the 8 weeks’ sewing programme course with a pack of required sewing tools.
Donation of televisions
Donated two televisions to ward 33, psychiatric ward of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila.
