Donation to Marawila Hospital – Inner Wheel District 322

Handed over bedsheets, serviettes and children’s nappies to Dr. V. Rajapaksha, Medical Superintendent of Marawila Hospital.

Donation of dry rations

Dry rations were donated to the Community Kitchen Negombo where around 150 Low income people are fed daily with a healthy meal.

Donation of spectacles

donated spectacles to two visually impaired little girls from a nearby school at their installation.

Diabetic Project – Donation of Glucometers & Strips to the General Hospital, Negombo

Diabetic Project – Inner Wheel Club of Negombo donated glucometers along with boxes of strips to the District General Hospital, Negombo. The donation was handed over to the Director Dr. Priyantha Thennakoon and to Endocrinologist Dr. Tharanga Sumanasekera.

Donated bed sheets, pillow cases, towels and napkins to the Dankotuwa Hospital

District project on Women Empowerment

10 women who owned small-scale businesses were given a cash donation each to celebrate International Women’s Day by Inner Wheel Clubs of Jaela / Kandana, Negombo & Wattala

Donated a pair of crutches to a physically challenged person on the streets to help him get about more easily.
