Donation to low income families – Inner Wheel District 322

Donated dry rations to 5 low income families who were affected with kidney diseases in Anuradhapura area . This was done as a joint project with the Inner Wheel Club of Anuradhapura who found all the deserving recipients. The funds were received from Nilakshi Perera in memory of her brother Romesh Ondaatjie.

Handed over funds to Helpage Sri Lanka to carry out 12 cataract surgeries.

Donation of Essential Items to Surasa Special Education School and home, Moratuwa

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West donated fans, plate racks and few other essentials to “Surasa Special Education School and home in Moratuwa”. The inmates of the home were also given a treat in the evening.

Donation to a quadriplegic child

Donated a wheelchair and cash to buy food and diapers to a 12 year old quadriplegic child.

Drinking Water Purification System Provided to a Village in Alapathwewa, Horowpathana, Anuradhapura

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West collaborated with District 379 in the Philippines to implement a project that provides a clean drinking water purification system for the village of Alapathwewa in Horowpathana, Anuradhapura. It will benefit 300 families with pure drinking water which includes 160 children
