Donation of Spectacles – Inner Wheel District 322

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West donated spectacles to an eye camp at Mallika Home, in collaboration with D S Jayasinghe opticians.

Donation to safe house

Donated 8 mattresses, 4 fans ,1 gas cooker and toys for children to an emerging safe house for abused women and children.

Made a donation for lunch of 110 children at an orphanage in Batticaloa managed by Ramakrishna mission.

Donation of wheel chair and cash donation

The Club collaborated with the Centre for Handicapped to donate a special model wheelchair to a farmer. The club also arranged the transport and delivery of it. Donation of Acrylic Paint & Canvas to Shirani Joseph De Saram Foundation

Acrylic Paint & Canvas was donated to Shirani Joseph De Saram foundation. SJDSF also provides vocational training for differently abled adults. The donation was done to facilitate them with their art exhibition for a fund-raising project.

Two toilets were refurbished with new fittings and accessories, and the washroom area of the differently abled young adults of the “Madiwala Boys home” was also refurbished.
