Diabetic Project – Donation of Glucometers & Strips to the General Hospital, Negombo

Diabetic Project – Inner Wheel Club of Negombo donated glucometers along with boxes of strips to the District General Hospital, Negombo. The donation was handed over to the Director Dr. Priyantha Thennakoon and to Endocrinologist Dr. Tharanga Sumanasekera.

Awareness on World Suicide Prevention Day

A video message was circulated for World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September 2023 to create awareness .

Donation of crutches

Donated a pair of crutches to a physically challenged person on the streets to help him get about more easily.

Donated bedsheets, pillowcases, towels and serviettes to Nisala Diya Sevana, Girls Home, Negombo.

International Peace Day

The members of the Club observed International Peace Day on the 21st of September by sharing a message of peace amongst members, family and friends via social media.

Donated a smart phone to a young boy who was in urgent need to do his on line classes.
