Donation of sanitary napkins – Inner Wheel District 322

Donated sanitary napkins to 30 ladies (mothers of children under probation and child protection) at Siri Seevali Maha Vidyalaya Panadura.

District project on Childhood Cancer

District project for the Inner Wheel Clubs of Colombo, Colombo Nawa Udana , Anuradhapura and Jaffna was completed. Medication and syringes where handed over to Cancer Hospital children’s ward.

Child mental health awareness programme

Conducted a child mental health awareness program together with child protection officers and 2 Doctors at St Mary’s School Mabola Wattala. Sponsored Breakfast and milk for 171 school children and teachers.

Donated books, stationeries and snacks to ” Daughters of Providence for the Deaf and Dumb” Convent, Waikkal.

Donation to St. Theresa’s home

Donated dry rations and two fans to St. Theresa’s home for disabled girls of Marcsri Homes.

District Project – Women Empowerment

Empowering women and teaching them sewing skills & making them self-sufficient to start their own business was conducted jointly by the Inner Wheel Clubs of Colombo, Colombo Nawa Udana, Anuradhapura & Jaffna. #womeninneedand #singersrilanka helped run the program successfully in Jaffna
