The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota donated sanitary items and essential items to a teenager. This is an ongoing project – the members will support the teenager monthly.

Donation of Spectacles & Funds for Lenses to Sunera Foundation
Donation of 34 pairs of spectacles and funds for lenses to Sunera Foundation to be given to differently-abled adults at their Centers in Sri Lanka.
Two toilets were refurbished with new fittings and accessories, and the washroom area of the differently abled young adults of the “Madiwala Boys home” was also refurbished.

World Elders Day – Provided lunch and essential items to Sanasuma Elders Home
World Elders’ Day – The Inner Wheel Club of Wattala provided lunch to inmates and helpers at “Sanasuma”, Elders Home, Good Shepherd Convent, Nayakakanda, Wattala. Sanitary items, bed linen, towels etc were provided to the inmates. Music and singing were organized by the Club for the inmates, who had an enjoyable time singing and dancing.
Awareness Programme on Wellness of Women for Pregnant Mothers
Innerwheel club of Wattala together with the members of the Urban Council, Maternity Clinic, Wattala organised an awareness programme on Wellness of Women.
