Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations

Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations were held at the Joy Home in Wattala. Stationary packs, sanitary packs and sweet meats were given to the 20 children in the orphanage.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

Celebrated International Women’s Day by organising a cookery demonstration for 42 young girls who are being sheltered at the Nayakakanda Convent. They were provided with refreshments.

Cash donation to student

O/L Student was given a cash donation for his tuition fees ( ongoing project for three months)

Cash donation for pampers and other essentials

Cash donation was given to purchase a pack of pampers and other essentials for an infant of two blind parents. This initiative will be carried out monthly until the end of the Inner Wheel Year.

District project on Women Empowerment

10 women who owned small-scale businesses were given a cash donation each to celebrate International Women’s Day by Inner Wheel Clubs of Jaela / Kandana, Negombo & Wattala
