District Project – Childhood Cancer
The Inner Wheel Clubs of Kandy, Kandy Metropolitan, Katugastota and Matale launched their District Project on Childhood Cancer by meeting with a little boy with leukemia and his mother and giving her the first month’s funds for his treatment. An additional cash donation is also donated to the family each month for other expenses.
Donation of plants
The club had organized to donate 70 plants to the Tenna Maha Vidyalaya and planted 3 trees in their compound along with IIW President Trish.
