Dry rations were donated to a needy family.

Cash Donation for Wesbanduma

The Inner Wheel Club of Kandy Metropolitan presented a cash donation to Kaveesha for his “Wesbanduma,” the traditional attire worn by Kandyan dancers.

Participated in the tree planting project done jointly by the Inner Wheel District 322 and Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. Guava, mango and soursop plants were planted at a member’s residence.

Donation of Kitchen Equipements to a School Home Science Room – Mirihana

Donated kitchen equipment to a special need school in Mirihana for their home science room.

Donation of a Harmonium

The Inner Wheel Club of Badulla donated a used harmonium to Mrs. Niroshini Subasinghe, a music teacher who provides free music lessons to children from low-income families.

Celebrating Children’s Day – A meal was provided to the children of Dharmapala Buddhist Primary School, Wattala

Celebrating Children’s Day Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Nawa Udana provided a meal to the children of Dharmapala Buddhist Primary School Wattala. Also, a child abuse awareness session was held with guest speaker Ms. Nilanthi Pushpakumara from the Child Protection Authority Mahara to celebrate Children’s.

Donation of an Arificial Limb

The Inner Wheel Club of Kandy donated an artificial limb to a girl born with a defect that affects her ability to walk. This donation by IWC Kandy is ongoing; this is the third time she has received a custom-made limb.
