Donated a set of Sinhala, English, and Tamil storybooks to Arun Manickavasagam Hindu College in Wattala for International Literacy Day, this school was established in 2019 for the welfare and betterment of education of the Hindu children in the vicinity.
In appreciation of this gesture, the principal of this school invited the President of the Inner Wheel Club of Wattala to officially open their new library. The President and a few members took part in the opening ceremony and also distributed chocolates among the children
