Donated an artificial limb to a needy person at the Centre For Handicapped Kundasale on behalf of the birthday of the club birthday. Recipient was a 10 year old girl who has lost her limb due to congenital reasons.

District Project – Childhood Cancer
The Inner Wheel Clubs of Kandy, Kandy Metropolitan, Katugastota and Matale launched their District Project on Childhood Cancer by meeting with a little boy with leukemia and his mother and giving her the first month’s funds for his treatment. An additional cash donation is also donated to the family each month for other expenses.
Eye camp
Conducted an eye camp at the Orange Field tea factory in Panwilatenne. The beneficiaries were the staff and workers of the establishment, numbering over 75. Reading glasses were issued according to requirements free of charge.
Medical and dental camp
Organised a medical & dental clinic at Abhirami Tamil school, for the Kelebokka estate community . Oral health education including brushing demonstrations, dental screening and treatments were offered for more than 200 children. Tooth brush and tooth paste was donated to each child.
