Celebrated Inner Wheel Day with the ladies at St. Margaret’s Home

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo celebrated Inner Wheel Day by providing lunch to the ladies at St. Margaret’s Home. The visiting club, the Inner Wheel Club of Mumbai Hanging Gardens joined in celebrating Inner Wheel Day at the home. They donated diapers and other essential items required by the home.

Donated a case of milk powder for the children of Bethlehem Creche in Wanathamulla, a low-income area of Colombo.

Women empowerment

Sponsored 12 ladies from WIN Her Jaffna to empower them through an 8 week course of a sewing programme at Singer Academy. Inner Wheel Club of Jaffna supported to coordinate this project.

Donation of televisions

Donated two televisions to ward 33, psychiatric ward of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila.

Christmas party at the Children of Joy Home

Held a charity Christmas party at the Children of Joy Home in Wattala, home to 19 girls aged 4 to 16. A fun-filled evening was full of music, games like “pin the nose on the reindeer,” prizes, and delicious food.
