A mental health program was conducted for women as well as a cookery program
The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Nawa Udana held a cookery program at the Bambalapitiya Flats Public Hall, initiated by Thilani Withanage, the ISO of the club. Also, a mental health awareness program was conducted for women by Dr. Heshani Karunathilake, who is in charge of the Counselling Centre at Teaching Hospital Kalubowila.
Donation of Necessary items to a 4 year Old
On International Charity Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central donated diapers, dry rations, biscuits, soft drinks, milk powder, baby Eau de Cologne, cream, powder, soap, toothpaste, towels, and other items to a 4-year-old boy who has undergone an Anoplasty and is awaiting another surgery.
Two toilets were refurbished with new fittings and accessories, and the washroom area of the differently abled young adults of the “Madiwala Boys home” was also refurbished.
