Doantion to the Community kitchen

Donated paint and supplies to paint ward number 8, and it’s corridors of the National Institute of Mental Health—Angoda, in lieu of International Inner Wheel Day. They also donated a water purification plant to the ward.

Participated in the tree planting project done jointly by the Inner Wheel District 322 and Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. Jack fruit, pomegranate and guava were planted at Bandaranaike Cancer Home in Maharagama.

Donated diapers to patients at Angoda Mental care hospital. Dr. Ishan De Zoysa the Senior Registrar at the hospital was invited as a guest speaker to educate the members on topics of Depression , Dementia etc.

Celebrated International Literacy Day by donating school supplies to 100 children at Nugegoda Tamil Vidyalayam which consists of children of low-income families. The project was generously sponsored by A-Pad organization and club members. A donation of 20 books of past question papers for O/L and A/L was also made.

Donated 8 mattresses, 4 fans ,1 gas cooker and toys for children to an emerging safe house for abused women and children.

Completed a project at the SOS Children’s Village Anuradhapura. 85 children were screened at an eye clinic and 12 were prescribed spectacles . Inner wheel club of Colombo West handed over spectacles to 12 children . Further Food packs were handed over to the 15 houses in the village.Once the children have completed school they…
