Diabetic Day Project –
The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central provided financial assistance to four diabetic patients to purchase medicines.
An annual contribution is made to the Cancer Society towards the outdoor patients who seek assistance.
A cash donation was made to a kidney patient to buy her medication.
A deserving University student was sponsored with a monthly allowance.
On International Charity Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central donated diapers, dry rations, biscuits, soft drinks, milk powder, baby Eau de Cologne, cream, powder, soap, toothpaste, towels, and other items to a 4-year-old boy who has undergone an Anoplasty and is awaiting another surgery.
Donated 7 packs diapers, eggs, yoghurt, milk & oats to a deserving 86 year old lady who suffers from Parkinson’s decease, dementia & partial paralysis.
To commemorate the Centenary Year the Inner Wheel club of Colombo Central distributed 100 lunch packets along with a bottle of water & dessert to low income families identified by the Gramasevaka of the area.
