Celebrating Children’s Day
Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Nawa Udana provided a meal to the children of Dharmapala Buddhist Primary School Wattala.
Also, a child abuse awareness session was held with guest speaker Ms. Nilanthi Pushpakumara from the Child Protection Authority Mahara to celebrate Children’s.
The Inner Wheel Club of Matale celebrated children’s at the Matale General Hospital Pediatric ward.
The Inner Wheel Club of Wattala donated dry rations, toys, clothing, and other baby products to a low-income family with three children.
Children’s Day – The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central donated sinks to “Sneha Home” – a home with infants to children under 5 years of age.
The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota collaborated with the Rotary Club of Katugastota to donate walking aids to elders at the Dewpura Elders Society in Hunnasgiriya.
The Inner Wheel Club of Wattala donated a mattress and pillow to a woman with a physical ailment.
An Art Competition was organized to commemorate the International Day of Peace. The students of grades 6, 7, and 8 from Sri Rathnapala Maha Vidyalaya, Thelangapatha, Wattala, participated in the art competition. Prizes were awarded to the winners, and refreshments were provided to all participating students.
