The Inner Wheel Club of Kandy Metropolitan donated Seven Accu-Chek Glucometers to the Diabetic ward – Endocrinology unit, of Kandy Hospital.

Dental screening
Started the first day of dental screening and basic treatments for 62 kids at “Child Action Lanka” in celebration of the IIW Centenary year. on behalf of the club examined the kids with dental care, out of which 42 kids were referred to her clinic for treatment.
Awareness of tuberculosis
The secretary of the club represented the club on invitation at a public meeting held at the “National Hospital” Kandy regarding awareness of tuberculosis which is rapidly spread in the Central Province.
