The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West donated electronic items, furniture and books to Arun Manikawasagam Tamil School in Wattala.

Drinking Water Purification System Provided to a Village in Alapathwewa, Horowpathana, Anuradhapura

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West collaborated with District 379 in the Philippines to implement a project that provides a clean drinking water purification system for the village of Alapathwewa in Horowpathana, Anuradhapura. It will benefit 300 families with pure drinking water which includes 160 children

Donation of dry rations

Donated dry rations to a shelter for the elderly homeless in Piliyandala.

Donations for meals

Donated to St. John’s Church in Nugegoda for their ‘ we care kitchen” . Approximately 120 people were provided with food.

Distribution of Essential Items to those Affected by the Flood

The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West together with the Inner Wheel Club of Jaffna distributed essential items to Individuals impacted by the floods.

Cash donation

A donation of Rs 360,000/= was handed over to the President of the SL College of Paediatricians towards the ‘Feed a Child’ programme which was begun to help children suffering from malnutrition. A food pack worth Rs 3000/= will be given twice a month for six months.

Donations for lunch

Made a donation for lunch of 110 children at an orphanage in Batticaloa managed by Ramakrishna mission.
