World Elders Day – Donation of Dry Rations, Sweets & Daily Essentials to Sarana Sevana Elders Home

World Elder’s Day

The Inner Wheel Club of Kandy Metropolitan donated dry rations, sweets and daily essentials to 25 inmates of “Sarana Sevana ” elders’ home in Polgolla.

They were also treated to a delicious homemade dinner by the members.

In addition to that 05 dry ration bags were donated to needy families of that area.

Donation of Stationary & Essential to Sujatha Girls’ School

On International Literacy Day stationery and other essential items were donated to 40 underprivileged children of Sujatha girls’ school.

A surgical suction machine was donated to the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital.

To celebrate the International Charity Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Wattala organised a Book Drive at St. Anne’s Church and St. Anne’s Secondary School. Acrylic Paint & Canvas was donated to Shirani Joseph De Saram foundation. SJDSF also provides vocational training for differently abled adults. The donation was done to facilitate them with their art exhibition for a fund-raising project.
