Celebration of World Children’s and elders day
The Inner Wheel Club of Badulla conducted a one-day birthday cake making workshop for 12 children from selected low-income families. They were taught how to make a birthday cake and decorate using fondant icing.
This workshop was led by the President, Mrs. Vasana Dharmasiri. It was a highly successful and inspiring event.
Diabetic Project The Inner Wheel Club of Wattala donated essential medicines to diabetic patients at Lady Ridgeway Hospital.
On International Charity Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Central donated diapers, dry rations, biscuits, soft drinks, milk powder, baby Eau de Cologne, cream, powder, soap, toothpaste, towels, and other items to a 4-year-old boy who has undergone an Anoplasty and is awaiting another surgery.
The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West visited the National Institute of Mental Health, Angoda, to observe World Mental Health Day. The Club also donated 30 chairs to ward no. 8, the female ward.
Dry rations were donated to a needy family.
Innerwheel club of Wattala together with the members of the Urban Council, Maternity Clinic, Wattala organised an awareness programme on Wellness of Women. World Elders Day : The Inner Wheel Club of Negombo provided dinner to the inmates of St. Joseph’s Elders Home Thammita, Negombo. The members spent time with the Elders.
