World Elders’ Day – The Inner Wheel Club of Wattala provided lunch to inmates and helpers at “Sanasuma”, Elders Home, Good Shepherd Convent, Nayakakanda, Wattala. Sanitary items, bed linen, towels etc were provided to the inmates. Music and singing were organized by the Club for the inmates, who had an enjoyable time singing and dancing.

Innerwheel club of Wattala together with the members of the Urban Council, Maternity Clinic, Wattala organised an awareness programme on Wellness of Women. The programme was attended by 21 expectant mothers, some of whom were accompanied by their husbands. An Art Competition was organized to commemorate the International Day of Peace. The students of grades 6, 7, and 8 from Sri Rathnapala Maha Vidyalaya, Thelangapatha, Wattala, participated in the art competition. Prizes were awarded to the winners, and refreshments were provided to all participating students.
