A new Endowment Fund was set up during the visit of IIW President Trish Douglas to provide for a limb annually on 10th January to celebrate the establishment of International Inner Wheel. The first limb was gifted to a 16 year old school girl.

Donations to persons affected by the rains in Kinniya, Trincomalee
The Inner Wheel Club of Kandy teamed up with Salvation Army collection point in their Kandy Headquarters to deliver clothes and cash donations to those affected by the rains. Dry rations were also donated in the affected area in Kinniya, Trincomalee
